For example, the new advertisement states that Yaz is approved to treat PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), not PMS (premenstrual syndrome). Bayer had to make more clear statements about the level to which Yaz may help in the treatment of acne. The makers of Yaz were also criticized for their internet marketing, and they had to make corrections in internet marketing as well as television advertising.
